Meet the Speech Therapy Team 

Alissa graduated with an Honors Bachelor of Science from University of Toronto in Psycholinguistics and a Masters of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Boston University.  

Alissa has over 5 years of experience evaluating and treating various populations from Early Intervention (0-3 yrs) to geriatrics and end of life care. Her training includes geriatric swallowing, pediatric feeding, language and cognition, voice, transgender voice modification and fluency.

She has worked across all settings such as outpatient clinics, home health, Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF), Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Intensive Care Units (ICU). Alissa holds the ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency and is certified and trained in instrumental evaluations such as MBSS and FEES.  

In her spare time Alissa enjoys spending her time outdoors adventuring!

In the wild Alissa can be found doing all kinds of activities on rope. She is an avid rock climber, canyoneer, mountaineer and peak bagger. When not on rope Alissa can be found backpacking into the wilderness or packrafting in whitewater. 

Lindsey graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor of Psychology and got her Masters in Speech Language Pathology from Nevada State University. Lindsey holds the ASHA Certification of Clinical Competency. 

Lindsey has worked as a special education teacher  for the Clark County School District for 3 years, specializing in education with kids with Autism.  She completed Behavior Technician training.  She is also the mother of two boys, one with Autism.

She has worked in post acute and rehabilitation settings.  She has experience in voice therapy with Parkinson’s patients, feeding, fluency, language, and ASD.  Currently, Lindsey also serves on the Nevada Speech Language Hearing Association (NSHA) as treasurer to further support childrens and adults in the state of Nevada.

Lindsey loves working  in the Speech Language Pathology field, and has experience working with 6 month-olds to 90 +, on a wide variety of goals. 

In her spare time Lindsey spends time with her family. She enjoys attending local events in the community, concerts, and volunteering at her children’s school. She also enjoys frequent trips to California and various theme parks.
